Conducts Tree Plantation Program

OAB Foundation successfully organized a tree plantation program at Dakatia Government Primary School in Shyamkur Union under Maheshpur Upazila of Jhenaidah District as part of its ongoing Project Tree Plantation initiative. The program was arranged with the objective of promoting environmental conservation, increasing green coverage, and inspiring communities to take an active role in protecting nature. Fruit-bearing, timber, and flowering tree saplings were planted across the school campus to create a healthier and greener learning environment for students. The event was attended by local Union Parishad Member Md. Abdul Malek, Md. Shahanur Alam, Co-Lead, Program and Logistics of OAB Foundation, school clerk-teacher Anis Hossain, and respected members of the local community. Speaking at the event, Md. Shahanur Alam emphasized that a tree is not only a symbol of natural beauty but also an essential foundation for ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for coming generations. He stated that OAB Foundation remains committed to environmental protection and community development through long-term green initiatives. He also highlighted the importance of encouraging tree plantation in educational institutions to build environmental awareness and inspire students to become responsible stewards of nature. The school authorities expressed their commitment to ensuring the regular care and maintenance of the newly planted trees so they can continue to benefit future generations.
