OAB Foundation, a youth-led social organization, successfully organized an educational awareness event titled “Conscious Children, Safe Future” at Ketra Government Primary School in Birampur Upazila, Dinajpur.
The event aimed to raise awareness among children about personal safety, hygiene, and good touch–bad touch. A total of 60 students from Grades 1 to 5 participated, including 35 girls and 25 boys.
The topics were presented in a child-friendly and engaging way through storytelling, graffiti, visual presentations, and practical activities. At the end of the session, a question-and-answer segment was arranged, and students who answered correctly received prizes.
Mr. Md. Mominul Haque, Head Teacher of Ketra Government Primary School, attended the prize-giving ceremony as the Chief Guest. Rakib Hossain, Lead of the HR and Finance Department at OAB Foundation, attended as the Special Guest.
The session was facilitated by OAB Foundation volunteers—Rakib, Mohona, Azmain, Tonu, Taptunna, Yarima, and Bindu. A total of 16 volunteers took part in the event.
Through this initiative, OAB Foundation continues its commitment to ensuring a safe, healthy, and dignified environment for children through awareness programmes in educational institutions across Bangladesh.
