OAB Foundation organized an educational awareness programme titled “Conscious Children, Safe Future” at Boidahar Government Primary School in Birampur, Dinajpur. The programme focused on personal safety, good touch–bad touch awareness, and personal hygiene through storytelling, graffiti, interactive discussions, and practical learning activities. A total of 60 students from Grades 1–5 participated in the session."
OAB Foundation, a youth-led non-profit organization, successfully organized an educational awareness programme titled “Conscious Children, Safe Future” at Boidahar Government Primary School in Birampur Upazila, Dinajpur, on 27 July 2026.
The programme aimed to empower children with essential knowledge and practical life skills on personal safety, good touch–bad touch awareness, and personal hygiene. A total of 60 students from Grades 1 to 5 participated in the event, including 45 girls and 15 boys.
The learning sessions were conducted using child-friendly and interactive methods, including storytelling, graffiti, visual demonstrations, participatory discussions, and practical activities, making it easier for children to understand and remember important safety messages.
At the end of the programme, an interactive question-and-answer session was held to assess the students' understanding. Children who answered correctly were awarded prizes to encourage participation and reinforce learning.
The prize-giving ceremony was graced by Ms. Nasrin Begum, Head Teacher of Boidahar Government Primary School, as the Chief Guest.
The session was facilitated by OAB Foundation volunteers **Azmain, Akher, Nirob, Bindu, Taptunna, and Yarima**, while a total of **11 volunteers** contributed to the successful implementation of the **1-hour and 20-minute** programme.
Through initiatives like “Conscious Children, Safe Future,” OAB Foundation continues its commitment to promoting child protection, personal safety, and hygiene education, ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, healthy, and dignified environment.
