The initiative aims to connect with students across educational institutions, inspire youth leadership, and encourage active participation in social and environmental development. During the session, participants were introduced to OAB Foundation’s journey, mission, vision, core values, ongoing programmes, and future plans.
The discussion highlighted the importance of youth engagement in Climate Action, Climate Justice, Renewable Energy, Environmental Conservation, Youth Leadership, Skill Development, Volunteerism, Women’s Empowerment, Child Development, and Sustainable Development. Students also learned about the Foundation’s national initiatives and the opportunities available to contribute to meaningful community impact.
Beyond being an introductory session, the programme served as an interactive platform where students shared their ideas, asked thoughtful questions, and explored ways to collaborate with OAB Foundation. The enthusiastic participation and constructive discussions reflected the growing interest of young people in creating positive social and environmental change.
OAB Foundation believes that an informed, skilled, and responsible generation of young leaders is essential for building a Just, Green, and Sustainable Bangladesh. Through the OAB Campus Introduction & Outreach Initiative, the Foundation seeks to strengthen collaboration with universities, colleges, and schools by promoting volunteerism, leadership, innovation, and sustainable development.
At the conclusion of the session, interested students were invited to join OAB Foundation’s programmes and volunteer network, enabling them to develop their leadership and professional skills while contributing to impactful community initiatives.
The successful launch of the initiative at the CVASU Faculty of Fisheries marks the beginning of a nationwide campus engagement journey. In the coming months, OAB Foundation plans to expand this initiative to universities, colleges, and schools across Bangladesh, empowering more young people to become changemakers and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
