The programme included interactive awareness activities, tree plantation, and distribution of fruit tree saplings among participating students."
OAB Foundation successfully organized the Green Future School Campaign 2026 at Ramkrishnapur B.L. High School in Birampur, Dinajpur, on 09 August 2026.
The campaign was designed to raise awareness among students about climate change, environmental conservation, clean air, and the importance of renewable energy. It also aimed to encourage young people to become responsible environmental citizens and actively contribute to building a greener and more sustainable future.
During the programme, students participated in interactive discussions and activities focusing on climate change, environmental protection, air pollution, the importance of clean air, and the role of renewable energy in creating a sustainable future. The sessions encouraged students to understand the environmental challenges around them and explore how they can contribute to positive change through individual and collective action.
Tree Plantation for a Green Future
As part of the campaign, a fruit-bearing tree sapling was planted within the school premises. The initiative highlighted the importance of tree plantation and environmental conservation while creating a practical example of green action within the school community.
Fruit Tree Saplings Distributed Among Students
At the end of the programme, participating students were gifted guava tree saplings. The initiative was designed to encourage students to plant trees in their homes and surrounding communities and take direct responsibility for protecting the environment.
A small sapling today can grow into a large tree tomorrow, providing shade, fruit, and clean air. Through this simple initiative, the campaign delivered a meaningful message: One tree, one action, one commitment toward a greener future.
The campaign also created an opportunity for students, teachers, volunteers, and partner organizations to come together around a shared vision of climate action and environmental sustainability.
The Green Future School Campaign 2026 was organized by OAB Foundation in collaboration with Youth for CARE and The Earth Society.
