OAB Clean Air & Renewable Energy Initiative

An awareness courtyard meeting was successfully organized in a village of Birampur, Dinajpur under the OAB Clean Air & Renewable Energy Initiative, with active participation of local women. The session focused on key environmental and climate-related topics including the impacts of climate change, the importance of environmental conservation, the use of clean energy, and the potential of renewable energy solutions in rural communities. Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared their personal experiences related to environmental challenges and everyday sustainability practices. The program encouraged community-based learning and emphasized the role of women in promoting environmental awareness and climate action at the household and community level. Participants expressed their commitment to building a greener, safer, and more climate-resilient future. As part of a symbolic environmental initiative, fruit-bearing saplings were distributed among participants to encourage tree plantation and ecosystem restoration.
