Awareness Courtyard Meeting on Violence Against Women and Child Marriage Prevention

OAB Foundation organized an awareness courtyard meeting in Harinchora Majher Char, Lalmonirhat District, focused on preventing violence against women and child marriage. The program saw active participation from local community members, where detailed discussions were held on the causes and consequences of violence against women, the importance of protecting women’s legal and social rights, and the harmful physical, psychological, and social impacts of child marriage. The session also emphasized the need for increased social awareness and collective action at both family and community levels to effectively address these issues. Participants were encouraged to play an active and responsible role in building a safe, just, and humane society. Through this initiative, OAB Foundation reinforced its belief that awareness is the starting point of meaningful change and sustainable social transformation.
