Conscious Children, Safe Future School Campaign

OAB Foundation Chattogram Divisional Team successfully organized a school campaign under the Conscious Children, Safe Future initiative at Chattogram Government Girls’ High School on 07 September 2026. The approximately one-hour campaign was designed for Grade 9 students and focused on three important areas: personal safety and awareness against harassment, climate change, and career guidance. Rather than limiting the session to conventional presentations, the topics were explored through storytelling, real-life examples, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer activities. This approach created an engaging learning environment where students could participate openly and connect the topics with their everyday experiences. Students were given the opportunity to share their questions, concerns, uncertainties, and challenges. Through discussion and guidance, the session aimed to help them better understand issues related to personal safety, climate awareness, and future career planning. The active participation and attentiveness of the students were particularly encouraging throughout the session. At the end of the campaign, feedback from the students indicated that they enjoyed the session and learned about several topics that were previously unfamiliar to them. Students also expressed interest in becoming involved in similar initiatives in the future and contributing to positive change in their communities. OAB Foundation believes that creating awareness among children and young people is not simply about providing information. It is about helping them develop the knowledge, confidence, and capacity to make informed decisions about their safety, future, and the world around them. Through the Conscious Children, Safe Future initiative, OAB Foundation continues to promote child protection, personal safety, climate awareness, education, and youth empowerment. The organization aims to create more opportunities for students to learn, ask questions, develop essential life skills, and become responsible members of society. Today’s conscious children can become tomorrow’s responsible citizens and changemakers.
