Student Awareness Session on Climate Change, Renewable Energy, Career Guidance, and Safety

On 8 October 2026, OAB Foundation’s Chittagong Team organised a student awareness session at Bangladesh Mahila Samity Girls’ High School and College in Chattogram. The initiative aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of important environmental, educational, health, and social issues while encouraging informed decision-making and responsible participation in their communities. The session covered four key areas: Climate Change and Renewable Energy: Students learned about the climate crisis, sustainable energy solutions, environmental responsibility, and the importance of expanding renewable energy use. Career Guidance: Discussions explored higher education opportunities, potential career pathways, and emerging professional sectors, including renewable energy, helping students consider their future academic and career goals. Health Awareness: The session highlighted dengue prevention and essential health practices to encourage students to adopt preventive measures and promote healthier lifestyles. Women’s Safety and Cyberbullying: Students discussed personal safety, harassment, online security, cyberbullying, and the importance of seeking appropriate support when facing unsafe or harmful situations. Through interactive discussions and active student participation, the programme created an engaging environment for learning, exchanging ideas, and sharing practical knowledge. OAB Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to the school authorities and teachers for facilitating the initiative, as well as to the participating students and team members for their cooperation and dedication. Through educational outreach and school-based awareness initiatives, OAB Foundation continues to promote youth empowerment, environmental responsibility, health awareness, digital safety, and gender-sensitive communities.
